Teacher at Oxford:You will have a session on Oxford mentoring system, including our latest e-mentoring. But sure, just a snapshot. Oxford is famous for its mentoring system, which was initiated 600 to 700 years ago. It was applied further to undergraduate students in the 19thcentury.
广州政府官员：中国研究生教育的导师制也有一定历史了，不过我们没想到牛津本科生的导师制也有两百多年的历史，这正是我们要学习的。
Teacher at Oxford:Upon a student’s entry into Oxford, professors in the same discipline from different colleges will review his application letter and one of them will become the mentor of a specific student in his major.

Teacher at Oxford:Our mentor-student ratio is 1:2. Great pressure on the university, both financially and faculty-wise.
